In RockBandLounge.com's Rock Star: All Stars competition, Marty Casey of the Lovehammers won it all!
In the final week of competition, Toby Rand was eliminated, leaving Marty and JD Fortune to go head to head, much like they did on Rock Star: INXS. However, while JD won the first time around and got to become the new lead singer for INXS, this time Marty was crowned the Ultimate Rock Star.
He has been gracious enough to even visit RockBandLounge.com himself in order to give an acceptance speech. You can read it here.
Kudos go out to all the different fan groups who made this game successful and fun! There were many active fanbases already at RockBandLounge.com, but many others came out to support their favorites. The ladies at TeamMig set the tone for the whole game, and the Hammerheads came out in droves in the final weeks of the competition to bring it home for their boy. Storm's fans, Magni's fans, Toby's fans, JD's fans, Ryan's fans, and so many others were loyal to their favorites throughout, but in the end...Marty is the Ultimate Rock Star.
On a side note, Producer Dave from the Rock Star series followed the competition throughout, and he also dropped by to give a little hint about a new project he is working on for MTV. Let's just say, we will be seeing more of several of the members of the House Band, and they will be working with the kids of stars! Should be interesting.
